In this two-part interview, I am talking with Lauren Brown on overcoming unhealed trauma. Today, she talks about her childhood and the loss of her father at an earlier age. On top of that, at the age of 3, she was separated from her mother due to her drug addiction. This caused her to develop anxiety and uncertainty later in life.
As her mom continued to go in and out of rehab, Lauren had to stay with her mom’s friends while her mom was getting the help she needed. At 17, her mother had another bout with her addiction. Nevertheless, Lauren was determined to graduate high school, so she moved out and stayed with her childhood friend.
