Why is it so hard for people to apologize when they did you wrong? I remember when I was looking for an apology for someone who mistreated me, and did you know that the person acted like I was the reason I got mistreated!! So instead of admitting that they did me wrong, it was easier for them to place the blame elsewhere.
For years this bothered me because I was looking for an apology to validate my feelings. Just hearing the words “I’m sorry” and they meant it would have put my mind at ease. But when it never came, I had to forgive and move on.
