Self-care is something that we all need. I, unfortunately, neglected self-care and become overextend/burnout. I knew I was not doing the things I needed to keep my mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical space intact.I thought I could push through, and my body would bounce back like it usually did, but not this time. My body decided to shut down.Luckily I caught it early and took a week and a half off of work to replenish myself.Somethings I did was:
- Take a bubble bath
- Rest
- Watched my favorite show
- Talk to my husband about my burnout
- Mani/pedicure,
- Have a piece of chocolate cake!
