At an earlier age, I was horrible with my finances. I had 9 credit cards by the age of 20, filed for bankruptcy by the age of 24, and got hooked up with the payday lenders by the age 26. As you can see, me and finances were not friends. It took me over 10 years to get my finances back in order, plus an additional 4 years to develop and maintain a budget.
